Monthly Archives: December 2016

Parents & children all bundled in warm clothing, sipping hot chocolate as they stroll together on a cold late December evening.  Snow is gently falling as they pass by local businesses brightly decorated to celebrate Christmas.  Sidewalks fill with happy families greeting one another with wishes of “Merry Christmas” & singing Christmas carols.  In the middle of the holiday festivities sits the town’s gigantic Christmas tree, trimmed with bright lights & beautiful decorations.  Excitement fills the air as the children are lining up for their opportunity to sit on Santa’s knee & tell him of their many Christmas wishes.

One of my favorite songs is “Good, Good Father” by Chris Tomlin.  We sing it frequently at our church & I’m privileged to hear it often on the radio when I’m driving.  It really speaks to me every time I hear it or get to sing it.  Plus, Simms has said that he really enjoys singing it at Kids Worship.
